Angry Bent rim, can anyone help?

Well it looks like my trip to Schaumburg cost me a bent rim, thanks to _shitty 355. I hit a pot hole coming home a damn big one, I couldnt move to miss it because of traffic, and the huge median to my left. Its my front right rim... theres a bout a 3 inch area that is not seirously bent, but definitley not right, around the edge of the rim. Good thing is I know this can be fixed, question is where? Body Shop? Wheel Shop?.... Can anyone suggest a place that is known for this stuff, an does good work? Any help would be great....
Peace.

Hey NAZ,

Ouch!

Sorry to hear about your encounter with a pothole.

Wheels America
3017 Malmo Drive
Arlington Heights, IL 60005
847.734.9212

They do a quality job on wheels for about $125.00.

Take your wheel in for them to look at and give you a quote. Then take your wheel over to Knauz BMW for a quote and Knauz will have Wheels America fix your wheel for a few dollars less.

I just had a wheel refinished at Knauz... Wheels America is the company that comes to Knauz to work on it... Chris is correct. They also can fix your rim for you as well (where as I just had curb rash to repair)...

I know you're not too far from Naperville and Knauz is in Lake Bluff, but the rim looks great and it was worth my trip. They can hook you up with a rental at no extra cost as well..

Be careful if you use Wheels America and they refinish your rims. Since BBS wheels are painted overseas (or at least my RKIIs were), there can be slight difference in how they look after they are redone. The "bright" silver look may be a little dulled.

Just my .02.

Hey Ryan, how much did it cost to have your curb rash repaired? I have some heavy duty rash from a meeting with the curb, and want to get it fixed... Let me know...

Guys if you go to knauz, it is cheaper. It only cost me 50 bucks a rim and it was a perfect job. I highly recommend them.

Call these two shops as well; they do excellent work and are very competitive with pricing.

Transwheel Corporation
620 Morse Avenue
Elk Grove Village IL 60007-5102
847-290-8473

Keystone Automotive Industries Inc,
W 47TH PL, Chicago, IL 60632
(773) 927-9600 3333

Transwheel & Tire-Chicago
2775 Katherine Way, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
(847) 860-8940

Hope this helps.

Through personal experience, i've used Transwheel and they did excellent work matching the bronze powdercoat that comes on my MF10's from Japan.
