Another pothole, another bent rim and some Pcar pics
So I hit a pothole on the Elgin O'hare and bent another rim (that makes 2 along with 2 flats). I get towed to the Discount Tire at Stratford to get the tire replaced and send the rim out and this pretty sweet Carerra 4 rolls in to get the summer chrome wheels put on. Anyway the owner has quite few a Pcars and is a recruiter over at UTI, pretty nice guy, older, 60ish. I told him to come by the meet at D&B on Sunday since he lives in the area.
Not a fan of the chrome rims, the winter wheels look way nicer IMO. Anyway snapped some pics with my phone, discuss amongst yourselves.

isn't the owner of the porsche a UTI rep. that goes around to all schools? if not, the UTI rep that did come to my high school that i went to drive a similar red porsche with the same interior and some nice sounds in it.. i distinctly recall him in a red porsche with red accents all over the interior and him saying he bought it like that.

We'll he's an older guy and he has quite a few vehicles. I think he just brings all his cars there from what the guys at the shop were saying.

Man are those OZ Aristos uber-soft, I would expect something more durable from them.

I don't get the whole "interior panels painted bodycolor" thing that I see all over the place on these cars. IMO it never looks right, it looks tacked-on, even the factory optioned stuff. Ricey, nasty. What gives, what am I missing? Is it some sort of homage to Porsche racing heritage or something?
When I take delivery of my P-car, the interior will be a NORMAL interior color... black leather, tan leather, maybe a mixture of black and tan....

I can't figure out which he has too much of: wing or red. I do know he has too LITTLE taste.
