Benz C300 Review....

So I love reviewing cars when I have some time to spend in them. I dropped the Cayenne off for some work and got a C300 from the dealership and I honestly can say that its just one of the most awful things i have driven for about 40k. I am comparing it to the build quality and drive of a 3 series to be fair.

Pros:
Very Sharp Looking Exterior

Cons:
-Handles like a donkey would if you strapped it to four wheels
-Accelerates like a donkey would if you strapped it to four wheels
-Fit and Finish are cheap for a benz. Better looking interior than a corvette, but fit and finish are no better than my buddies C5 Z06. Pieces are coming apart all over.
-Brakes are subpar

How anyone could buy this car over a 3 series boggles my mind.

Have to agree with you...each time I have brought my car to the Benz dealer they have given me that same car and each time I say the same sentiments as you. There is and always has been a large gap between the quality of Mercedes models. With a Benz you definitely get what you pay for on the high end, but they strip down their low end models (big time) and still overcharge the consumer for the "Benz" name.

Side note: I did test drive the C63 and that car is really nice, but I would still rather have my E55...

I agree with most of your points except the acceleration part,

I had this car as a rental when I went to california and drove this car everywhere for a week, including to vegas. And the cars acceleration was awesome and the thing I liked about it was how quite the engine was, at 130 I could barely hear the engine and the car was still pulling smooth and strong. Only things I didn't like about it was the cheap plastic interior and the steering could use some help, which sadly is the case with any mercedes now unless you get the AMG models.

I drove a dealer loaner c300 4matic for several days and would agree 100% on the poor handling, braking, acceleration and, most of all, the cheap interior.

How ironic i tell you' i was actually considering this car for my dad. Its funny because when we test drove the previous bodystyle C class back in 05' we complained about all the same things as listed above' in fact my dad even brought up how poor the accleration was when i mentioned that they came out with a new body for 08'.
