Our B13 Sentra E winter beater gets its 1st mod (a tach and clock!)
Those who know the b13 well know the base Sentra E did not even include a tach *much less a clock...
...so last week when I went to the local junkyard, I finally found a 93 Sentra WITH tach and clock. The mod was not as easy as it seemed (factory manuals had incorrect wiring diagrams FTL) but thankfully Mike is an engineer and was eventually able to figure it all out and solder it to work.. It was a project he would have never even considered had he known all the issues because it took all day yesterday.. BUT I must say the end results are nice! Before and after shots: IN the car before swap:  OLD one out of the car after speedo swap so the car kept the correct odometer:   and final product IN the car:

haha, no library books.. very clean inside...
and now it has all new brakes at all 4 corners (and super blue brake fluid - lol) only thing left to do is a nicer stereo setup (on order) and the clutch cable needs to be replaced because it's too stretched and cannot be adjusted any more...
