Our new to us 97 Maxima SE 5spd from Phoenix

We looked at 5 of them yesterday and man what a difference it makes when someone actually takes good care of their car vs. something just beat to the ground. Rust or no rust, some cars are just beyond beaters IMHO.

We liked a 95 and a 97 but the 97 had better paint, less mileage, better records and clearly better cared for so we went for it.

It's funny because my husband had a 1987 Maxima that he sold back in 2001 and now he has a 1997 Maxima... so I joked and said I guess his next Maxima will be a 2007 eventually then...

Its been in phoenix area its whole life, has been very well taken care of and garaged its whole life so it doesn't have the typical Phoenix sunburnt paint (which is nice). ..and not even a hint of rust anywhere obviously (heck, the exhaust looks showroom new)... gotta love the lack of rust down here!!! Also, never in an accident (evident in person inspection as well as VIN record check which also proved it was in phoenix area it's whole life)

I'll have to get more photos later but here is what I have right now:

yup, part of the appeal was the reliability of these and having one from rust free phoenix makes it that much nicer to work on for routine maintenance
