well, yesterday got as far as getting ready to install into the car...

but today actually got the motor reinstalled into the car (now all the other work to do still)

nothing special about the motor..

last november we had a 1999 infiniti g20 automatic we parted out and this is the motor from that car.. it had 102k miles and ran before we dismantled the car.. the leak down test was great with less than 10% on each cyl.

We liked that it had automatic so no chance of overrev...

We are both unemployed right now so we needed cheap.. and we already had this so free was the right price..

The only thing is it had to get some welding done on the case (see few posts back for photo details) for the front engine mount to reattach to the block (damaged from accident--sheered off block the mounts and stripped threads so totally redone)
