vogtland springs

I just bought and installed vogtland springs on an 99 a4 and was woundering how much the car is going to drop over time. The box said it would have a 1.4inch drop, but will the go even lower as I drive?

Thanks Ricky

Springs are known to settle. I've had that happen with previous cars. I think mine settled another .5" or so when I looked back a month later.

The indicated 1.4" drop should be after the suspension has settled. Usually the suspension wont get too lower as you didn't change out your bushings....

i was actually thinking of getting the same springs for the e30, any complaints? i want a really drastic drop but cheap money lol i figured 1.5-1.6 claim on the box it would actually be 2.0 in reality after settling can i assume right? and i've read on r3vlimited.com that a few use these with no complaints as of yet so far

so far i am VERY happy with them, it lowerd the car a good amount with out being too low and increased the handling a drastic amout, I would defenently recomend these for a cheap and quality spring

H&R race springs are known for their serious drop, but they aren't "cheap"... I think 250 new.
