Will these fit an M3

Type 161 (Front: 17x8 ET34 225/45 R17) (Rear: 17x8.5 ET37 255/40 R17).
This is for a e46 m3.

No, the offsets are wrong.

Does a 17" wheel clear the brakes on an E46 M3?

Depends on the wheel. 17" contour replicas will work on e46 m3 fronts, but there's a lot of space for brakes in the wheel design.

To get them to fit on the back, you'll need a 15-20 mm spacer.
