Tire changing tools + weights...

I'm planning on removing my tires soon to sand and paint the wheels black, so I'm wondering if anyone here has tools I can borrow for removing/installing the tires and also where I could purchase the weights to balance the wheel/tire?

Thanks in advance

Won't you need to run the wheels on the balancing machine to know where to put the weights? Not trying to sound unhelpful, but I think you'd be better off taking them to a shop to have done correctly.

I'm following this "tutorial" http://www.clarity.net/~adam/tire-changing-doc.html

Seems very simple and I've seen a couple guys do it in their garages with good results... I figured I'll save a good $50+ and learn something along the way

Just use notecards around the outside of the wheel. This is what I have done in the past and it's suuuuper easy.

Anxiously awaiting the post recommending a certain brand of tire for my bike....

I'll just simplify it... does anyone know where to buy little weights to balance wheels/tires? (other than stealing some from anthony when he's not looking)
And if you can point me in the right direction in getting some tire removal tools it would be great.
